The Re-Genesis of Marriage

Mark 10:1-16 | The Path | Trent Hunter Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason? Ever since we left Eden that question has been on our mind. It was a matter of controversy in Moses’ day, Jesus’ day, and in our day of easy divorce. When that question was put to Jesus, however, he changed the subject. He talked about marriage itself—what it is and what God intended for it. The obsession in his day was about exceptions. There’s more that the Bible has to say about this topic than what we have recorded here, but we desperately need the emphasis that Jesus lands in this sermon.
