The Real Bob Mitchell WWL interviewed Mark Henkel - Jan 2016

from National Polygamy Advocate · host Mark Henkel

National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed by "The Real Bob Mitchell" on WWL, 870 AM & 105.3 FM, in New Orleans, LA, on January 25, 2016. On the previous Thursday, January 21, 2016, the Brown v. Buhman case (aka, the “Sister Wives” case) was being heard at the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Tenth District, in Denver, Colorado. The appeal was filed by the State of Utah, following the lower federal court's ruling in the case on December 13, 2013, that had effectively de-criminalized "de facto polygamy" (i.e., polygamy where only one legal marriage license to one spouse exists). The host rightly exclaimed that it makes no sense to criminalize UCAP (Unrelated Consenting Adult Polygamy) families for doing nothing more than shacking up like anyone else. This host even offered to "go to court to make this argument." http://www.NationalPolygamyAdvocate.com
