Anyone that digs into sports history, Title IX etc. knows the real culprit to gender equity in college sports is the influence of football and the dollars associated with it within the NCAA. Football drives all decision making and programs nationwide are being cut to preserve football. Track and Field, Cross Country, Soccer etc. are just a few of the boys programs being cut to preserve football but the powers that be pretend it is the result of Title IX and gender equity bills.
