The Real Power Family Show with Tonja Henderson

Tonja Henderson turned a terrible situation into a great life. After finding people who became her support team she overcame her childhood abuse. From this awful time in her live she developed a mindset that has allowed her to overcome every obstacle she encounters. She decided she had to “Give up or Get Up.”   Tonya & her husband thought that family was the most important part of their life. When they decided to have children, she chose to give up her job (she was the bread winner at the time.) They lived on the small stipend he made as a grad student. She credits their survival with so little money on tithing. Yes, they continued to give when they couldn’t buy food for themselves… and somehow it always worked out.   When her husband’s company wanted them to relocate to China, he decided to walk away from the secure job & start a business. When they sold their house & made some money they chose to buy a smaller house and used the money they had left to buy a rental. Now they have 6 successful children, multiple rentals across many states, a nutrition business and a great family that travels together.
