"The Reason For Theology"

from The Caffeinated Theology Podcast Hosted by Caffeinated Theology

It was the late theologian/Pastor R.C. Sproul who wrote the book entitled, “Everyone’s a Theologian.” It is this sentiment which spring boarded the idea of a theological podcast. Since theology is the “study of God,” we believe it is every follower of Jesus responsibility to learn as much as one can about God, Christianity, the Bible, and everything in between, There is so much that can be said about a properly placed theology, but one thing that needs to be said is this, “orthodoxy” (right worship or understanding) leads to “orthopraxy” (right practice). Most people tend to think “only scholars are equipped to study theology,” and this thought could not be farther from the truth. In fact, if anyone has thought below a subsurface level on God then they have ventured into a theological thought. The desire of any Christ-centered theologian is not information dump, but to see people put into practice what they learn of God.
