from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

As we move on to the next day of Awareness month and today we are joined with Autistic Mother advocate Taffy, her son has Non - verbal Autism and he is currently 5 and was diagnosed 2 years ago. Taffy talks about what it was like for her, to understand herself what being Autistic actually means. She talks about a community she explains in more depth what "Clubhouse" is. We talk about the A world which is relatable to Taffy. She has a better understanding now, but does fear what the future will hold, but says we need to focus on the now present day for now it is s hard. Taffy mentions a book and now film called "The reason i Jump" which relates to being autistic. We both ask both really important conversations.  Thank you again Taffy. A fantastic episode to enjoy.
