Tragically, her daughters refused to leave, and her glance backward resulted in her transformation into a pillar of salt. Paltith, Lot's compassionate daughter, secretly gave him bread out of pity, and though her act of kindness cost her life, it stood as a testament to righteousness in a city full of wickedness.
