Even as a kid I have always been fueled by financial insecurity. My business is super profitable, but I don’t spend that much money. I rarely buy new clothes, I drive a Honda Civic because the car works fine and there is no need to get a fancier one, and I live in a place that is below my means so I can easily afford rent. And I do all of this so I can save cash and so I can “move on opportunity”. I have talked with so many people who want to take the next step in their business but literally CAN’T because of their past financial decisions. As I was working as a waiter and a buster in a restaurant I didn’t want to be like that. I understood that the money I was saving was my seed money to start my business. So while people were going out on Friday nights and drinking, going on luxurious vacations, and buying new clothes. I was saving all the money I possibly could so I could start my own business.
