The Reasons We Pray #3 - We Pray to the Father

Prayer need not be a plea before a distant judge. Jesus brings those who trust Him into God’s family, and the Spirit assures them that they are adopted children who may call God Father. The Father gives every good gift. He also uses hardship as loving discipline, never as punishment for a Christian’s sin, because Christ bore that punishment on the cross.
