The Reker Sisters

from True Crime All The Time Unsolved

In 1974, St. Cloud, Minnesota sisters Mary and Susanne Reker had just started school. Mary was 15-year-old and Susanne was 12-years-old. On Labor Day, September 2nd, 1974, the two sisters begged their mother all morning to be allowed to walk to the local store to pick out their school supplies. When they headed from home around 11:30 in the morning, there was no way their family could have known that was the last time they would see their smiling faces. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious disappearance and murders of Mary and Susanne Reker. The police initially considered the girls as runaways, a move that seriously delayed the investigation into their disappearance. Over the years, there have been a number of persons of interest in this case. But, one man, above all others, stands out to the family as the person responsible for the deaths of Mary and Susanne.
