The Relationship Between Language, Meaning, Reality, Amnesty, and the Human Collective

In this episode, I discuss how our experience of reality is shaped by language and collectively agreed meaning. I discuss the implications of this and how layers of false meaning can form as mistaken pieces of our identity and also social structures and concepts. I also share how thoughts are sticky and the combination of that with the falsehoods upon which many of our collective meanings and ideas are based can cause inner conflict and for us to act in ways which contradict our broader sense of self. This links with my argument for amnesty as we have a poor mainstream understanding of how consciousness can be influenced, and how we sometimes operate from projections which have gathered in our psyche over time, as well as from influences of beings which we often cannot see with our open eyes. An enhanced understanding of consciousness may help all of us understand and empathise with one another more and reframe our notions of culpability, identity, reality, etc. Thanks for listening!
