The relationship with yourself

In this episode we talk about the importance of your relationship with yourself.The question to ask is "Would you ever speak to someone else the way you speak to yourself? Imagine if someone you know tried something and failed. When they told you about it would you say "Well I'm not surprised, you're thick!" or "It's because you aren't good enough."Can you imagine what that relationship would be like if you spoke to a friend like this. Not great I would imagine, and yet we talk to ourselves like this every day. The slightest thing we get wrong we tell ourselves that we're stupid and that we don;t deserve it.When we walk into a room we tell ourselves that we don't belong. Imagine if you said that to someone that came in and sat next to you. "Excuse me, do you mind leaving because you clearly don't belong and no one wants you here." We have to realise that it is often only us telling ourselves these awful things and hopefully this episode will help you break the cycle.Enjoy
