The Republican Government Is a Complete and Utter Failure
from Walter Rhein Podcast · host Walter Rhein
Hello Friends! It’s time to tell the truth and tell it loud. Republicans can’t govern. Everything they’ve done since they’ve been handed control of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the United States government has been a complete disaster. The government has been shut down. They’ve cut funding to important agricultural programs. They’ve cut funding to education. They’ve cut funding to cancer research. The only thing they’re spending money on is brutality. Armed men are allowed to run around the country violating the Constitutional rights of US citizens with absolutely no oversight or accountability. This Republican government is a complete and total disaster, and the American people deserve better. The problem is that they’re a pack of authoritarian bullies. All they would have to do is reach across the aisle and negotiate with Democrats on a few key issues, and the government could open back up tomorrow. But there are two things the Republicans don’t want to do:* They don’t want to protect the healthcare of US citizens* They don’t want to release the Epstein filesSo, what’s going to happen? Are we going to expect air traffic controllers to continue to work their high-stress jobs without pay for the foreseeable future? How safe do you think that is? Do you really want to get on a plane knowing full well the person responsible for your safe landing didn’t get any sleep last night because she’s worried about not being able to pay the mortgage on her home?Do you think the banks are going to work with these people? Do you think they’ll be accommodating and say, “Yeah, we know, the president is being a petulant little child, we’ll give you a break.”When do banks ever do that? They’re going to chortle and foreclose and sell the house for whatever profit they can make. The worst part is that this government doesn’t care. This government is addicted to lawlessness. This government is addicted to power. They don’t care about the suffering of the working class. If they did, we wouldn’t be in this mess. The only thing they can do effectively is blame responsible people. That’s been the case since the era of King Solomon.Unfortunately, the American people aren’t as wise as King Solomon. They elected a person who is quite content to see the baby cut in half so he doesn’t have to endure the shame of “losing.”Well, with this jerk in charge, we all lose. The Republican government isn’t working for us. Right now, it seems like the only people they care about are the rich and privileged individuals who committed all the crimes detailed in the Epstein files. What’s going to happen next? Are they going to start demanding that we turn over our children to them? Are they going to come door to door and start taking our loved ones away? Are they going to invade cities like they’ve threatened to? Are they going to throw us all in concentration camps? Are they going to kill us and burn our bodies? Is the general population of the United States of America going to stand for that? How many boats have to be bombed off the coast? How many women have to bleed out in hospital parking lots? How long do we have to listen to the screams of children who have been torn away from their loving parents? How long? How long? How long? The worst part is that this could all end tomorrow. The division of power is eroding, but it’s still intact. All we need are a couple of Republicans in Congress and the Senate to come over to the side of reason and ensure the survival of the American people. They keep pressuring the Democrats to defect, but if that happens our healthcare will be devastated. If the government opens without significant protections for the people, a lot of Americans will be made to suffer. Those are the stakes.Where are the patriots? Where are the people willing to stand up and simply do what is right? We still have an intact government mechanism for peacefully and lawfully putting an end to tyranny. The president has declared war on the United States of America. If there ever was a time to use the protections placed in the Constitution to protect the people, it is now.You all make this newsletter happen!
