The Resolution

John’s life was… perfect. Was. He had everything planned out. The perfect job, the perfect woman, and the perfect ring. When New Year's Eve rolled around, John got down on one knee and popped that big question. But an actual punch to the gut would have been preferable to the crushing answer he actually received. Now, John’s perfect everything is falling apart. Bogged down with regrets, it would be so easy to wallow in self pity, dragging his feet through the sludges of an empty depression. Except he doesn’t. Instead, John decides to prepare. He has 365 days until next New Year’s, and he’s going to make sure it’s one everyone will remember! Forever.
