The Resurrection of Jesus (Iesous) Is a Perfect Tense Event

from A Sound Heart · host Josiah Rich

The religio-political elite of Jesus' day attempted to control the media and deny the reality of the resurrection because it meant that their power had become nil.  They knew that if the common people had first hand knowledge of the resurrection their mind control machine would be overthrown.  Their money and power depended upon who they marketed themselves to be to the people.  Jesus shattered their power monopoly by emerging from the grave on the third day.  The resurrection as perfect tense event is still shattering the things that are!
