The Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is the most important event in human history.When our lord rose from the dead, He defeated death.God being a Holy God MUST punish sin. If God does not punish sin, then He is not a just God.Jesus was the sacrificial Lamb that paid the price.So you can attempt to get to heaven on your own.That simply means you will need to be perfect. You can not commit even one sin.Jesus Christ lived the perfect life, and died for the sins of those who trust in His resurrection.If He as not risen that means God did not except His offering for the sins of the world. And that means that all the people that have died before were not forgiven of there sins.This includes the Prophets, Moses, the Kings, and the Apostles.That means all of us who are alive now will not be forgiven of our sins.That means that all who have died are in hell, and we are simply waiting for our train ticket to be punched in order to go to Hell.But the Good News is He did raise from the dead, never to die again.So you can have full confidence in what the lord Jesus has said. “I Am The Resurrection and the life”. “The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
