The Return of the Goddess with Elizabeth Cunningham

Elizabeth Cunningham is the author of the Maeve Chronicles a series of award winning novels, meets me on the high road to talk about "The Return of the Goddess". This is a fascinating story inspired by the Goddess herself. Elizabeth tells us hers story of how she first connected with the Goddess and shares the characters in the book with us on the show and their encounters with the Goddess. We talk about the Halloween, the earth, the ocean our food, prayer, and the Goddess. Elizabeth is the descendent of generations of episcopal priests. She grew upon a church rectory next door to an enchanted wood. She grew up hearing rich and sometimes terrifying, liturgical and biblical language. She is the author of nine novels and four collections of poems. Elizabeth makes her nonfiction debut this November with "My Life as a Prayer"; a Multifaith Memoir. Elizabeth lives in New York State's Hudson Valley, also known as the Mahicantuck, the river that flows both ways, on unneeded land that was home to the Esopus Tribe of the Lenape.
