THE REVEALED GLORY

from IKOYI BAPTIST CHURCH's Podcast · host Rev. Adekunle Oyeniyi

Say HiINTRODUCTIONIt is still our year of supernatural light and glory. The good news is that our light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon us (Isaiah 60:1). There is abundance of glory to go round. The problem is not the absence or scarcity of glory but the availability of ready glory carriers. Walking in the supernatural begins on the premise of revelation. Until a man catches a personal revelation of glory, he cannot experience and manifest the glory of God. We have learned so much about glory. It is now time for us to operate in the revelation of glory. May the Lord help us as we trust Him to develop in us the right attitude to walk in the revelation of His glory. May the Lord show us His glory. A. THE ASSURANCE OF GOD’S GLORY- Isaiah 40:4-5God is deliberate about His glory for His children. He promised us supernatural glory this year and it will come to pass.Supernatural glory is not reserved just for some people, it is originally intended for all.But there is a glory that awaits us beyond God solving our problems. B.SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTER WITH GLORY- Luke 9:28-36. ·             The Mountain top experience·             Glorious identity revealed-transfiguration·             The Disciples saw His glory From the experience of Peter, James and John, encountering supernatural glory would require the following: 1. INTIMACY WITH THE LORD-Luke 9:28-It begins on the premise of intimacy (in-to-me-see) with Jesus.-It takes more than being an occasional disciple to experience the glory of God. -Discipleship requires consistent intimacy with the Lord.-Peter, James and John earned this place because of their intimacy with the Lord.-The call for intimacy is for all-Luke 9:23 2. DEEPER WALK WITH THE LORD-Luke 9:28-It comes through a deeper walk with the Lord.-The place of encountering glory is usually not in a “common room.”-It requires going to the “mountain,” going the extra miles to get maximum concentration and focus on Jesus.-It is a journey of sacrifice.-It is an atmosphere devoid of distraction.-Prayer plays a vital role-Luke 9:29.-We must be ready to labour in the place of prayer- Luke 6:12; Luke 22:39-45; 1 Thessalonian 5:17.-How many times have you gone on personal retreat, fasting, spiritual quarantine, self-isolation just to be with Jesus? 3. REVELATION- Isaiah 40:5; Luke 9:29-34-Supernatural glory comes by revelation.-Revelation is “The making known of something that was secret or hidden”.-The uncovering of deep knowledge and understanding. Having great wisdom of what's hidden.-The three disciples (P.J.J) saw what they had never seen and heard what they have never heard about Jesus.-They had a correct understanding of Christ. No wonder they were instrumental to writing part of the gospels.-We all need a personal revelation of supernatural glory to succeed in our walk with God.-We need revelation from God to succeed in our walk and work.-Where are the Josephs and Daniels of our time? CLICK HERE TO READ MOREwww.ikoyibaptistchurch.org, instagram.com/@ikoyibaptisthurch, facebook.com/@ikoyibaptistchurch, x.com/@ikoyibaptistchurch.
