The Revelation of Jesus Christ - Christ the Wisdom of God II

I Corinthians 3:9 “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.”    Oh, the wisdom of God.  Only built upon Christ.  God’s wisdom was to bring forth in the Lord Jesus Christ, and only in Him.  In the old covenant we see a picture of the wisdom of God.  God granting wisdom to the men who would construct his tabernacle and his temple.  In one place it is said there was no hewn stone in the building of the altar.  This is speaking that man will not add to it.  Nothing of man.  The wisdom and supply to build the altar and the house would come of God.    Let us here this.  Moses went up unto God and saw the pattern.  God showed him, revealed to him the house.  Only in the revelation shown by God, even in type and shadow, did the house come forth.  Christ the House we are made part of is not a type or shadow, but he is the divine wisdom of God that we build up the church in for the habitation of God by Spirt.  Glory to God!
