Dr. Daniel Boner is a Professor and the Program Director of the Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Roots Music Studies at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). He earned his bachelor's degree in music from ETSU in 2006, where he was an active member of the ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band, performing at venues such as the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and touring internationally.
