THE RIGHT HAND THAT LEADS ME INTO REST

📖 Scripture “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Devotional Message In a world filled with constant pressure, endless responsibilities, and uncertainty, many people long for true rest. Yet the rest God offers is more than physical relaxation—it is the deep peace that comes from trusting Him completely. His mighty right hand leads us into that place of rest. The right hand of God represents His strength, guidance, protection, and faithful care. When we place our lives under His mighty hand, we no longer have to carry burdens that were never meant for us. He invites us to exchange anxiety for peace, fear for faith, and striving for confident dependence on Him. Throughout Scripture, God led His people into places of rest. He brought Israel through the wilderness toward the Promised Land. He restored David beside still waters and green pastures. Jesus invited the weary to come to Him and receive rest for their souls. God's desire has always been to lead His people into the security of His presence. The same invitation is extended to us today. His right hand calms troubled hearts. His right hand carries burdens too heavy for us. His right hand guides us through confusing seasons. His right hand gives peace that surpasses understanding. True rest is not found in the absence of problems but in the presence of God. Even when storms surround you, His hand can steady your heart and give you confidence that He remains in control. Do not allow worry to consume your thoughts. Do not let fear steal your peace. Bring every burden to the Lord. Trust His promises. Wait patiently for His direction. The God who never sleeps or grows weary is faithfully watching over you. When you walk under His mighty right hand, you discover a rest that the world cannot give and circumstances cannot take away. Today, Ask Yourself Am I carrying burdens that I need to surrender into God's mighty hand so I can experience His rest? Prayer Almighty Father, thank You for inviting me into Your perfect rest. I surrender every burden, worry, and fear into Your mighty right hand. Lead me with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and teach me to trust You completely. Let my heart find lasting rest in Your presence each day. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
