THE RIP: Great Crime Thriller with a few flaws

Strong performances across the board (mostly), with Matt and Damon carrying the movie on pure chemistry. The tension and mistrust felt real, and the mystery of who was dirty was actually engaging — the clues were there if you paid attention. Action is solid but nothing special. Where it stumbles: the movie points too hard at one suspect, killing some of the suspense. The “based on true events” angle feels shaky with stuff that seems impossible to get away with.
