The Ripple Effect

The ripple effect in leadership is somewhat like the art of skipping rocks. The goal is not to allow the rock to drop into the water thus accelerating a short distance but, rather to skip along to a greater and further distance. This same principle allows you to accomplish the goals that you strive to attain within your organization while utilizing your leadership, mentorship and relationship skills. As leaders, you have to be intentional in your strategic planning and implementation of moving your organization forward and to the next level. The Ripple Effect Takeaways: As leaders, you must assess the change you wish to implement for your frontline workers. This allows you to analyze the impact and outcome of what it is you wish to accomplish. Ensure that you are in constant dialogue and collaboration with all leaders and frontline workers. Allow space for honest and transparent conversations. Leave room for positive and negative feedback. Maintain an open forum for others to express the impacts of change while dealing with the ripple effects. Roll up your sleeves! Delve in and experience "hands on" change with your team. Maintain the morale of those that you are working with while going through the process of change. Ride the ripples together. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe or email us at: [email protected]
