We can not hang our hope on earthly movements and figureheads. Believers, we need to fix our eyes on Jesus and labor for what won’t perish. In 1 Samuel 12, the Israelites asked for a king so they could be like the other nations. But, God gave them a kingship that answered to Him. If you walk in Christ, then you’re called to be different from the world.Today’s episode is a session from Snowbird’s summer staff training. Brody encouraged our summer staff to remain faithful to the Lord in the middle of our current culture. The Israelites wanted to trust in a new form of government, rather than trusting in the promises of Yahweh. Christian, you are under the covenant care and love of God.
