Next week, the third episode will tell the stories of the businesses that joined them after the Second World War and played a key role as Japanese Hi-Fi brands spread to the West in the 1960s, before considering the parallels between the growth of the Japanese Hi-Fi Industry of the twentieth century and the emergent Chinese industry of the 2020s. In the final episode we will return to this theme by prompting an AI discussion to focus specifically on these parallels This week’s episode is accompanied by music created by the Hi-Fi hobbyist with the help of Mureka AI, designed to reproduce big band music from the interwar era when the earliest Japanese Hi-Fi brands were established.
