Readings from the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time: 2 Maccabees 7:1-2, 9-14; Luke 20:27-38 With apologies to The Boss and the blatant rip-off of the title off of one of his albums, today we look deeper into resurrection. The idea of resurrection had to grow within Judaism...it wasn't there from the beginning. And so even in Jesus's time, there were those who didn't believe in it's reality. Today, Jesus is challenged by one of those groups. And His response challenges us in our time today. How do we view resurrection and what does that mean for us both now and later?
