The Road to Tokyo Ep #8 - Emily Seebohm - Silencing her Critics!

from Legends with Bevo · host Bevo Media

After being told that she needed to ‘lose weight’ and that she was ‘too old’, four-time Olympian, Emily Jane Seebohm silenced the critics brilliantly by winning bronze and gold at Tokyo 2020! It was a pleasure to interview Emily on The Road to Tokyo and discuss the feeling she experienced when she won bronze in the 200 metres backstroke and gold in the 4 x 100 metres women medley relay. We also discussed Emily’s journey into becoming a professional swimmer, how Tokyo was an Olympics like no other, what it was like competing with no crowds and for a bit of fun I asked Emily, the three famous people she’d like to have dinner with. Thanks so much to Emily for her time, to Kate Hutchison from Swimming Australia for teeing up the chat and to Rory Noke from PodBooth for a great job of filming and editing the video.
