Messaged based on 1 Peter 5:6-11 If we don’t stand for something, we will fall for anything. Where should men and women of God take our stand today? At the end of Peter’s first letter, he recognizes that Christians are in a cosmic conflict. Instead of focusing on our adversary, he reminds us again of our Advocate who is greater by far. We do not lower our eyes in despair and say, “Look what the world has come to,” but we lift our eyes in delight and say, “Look who has come to the world.” We take our stand on the God of glory and grace.
