The role of evolving 5G and emerging 6G networks in Industry 4.0 era

In this podcast episode we discuss with Manuel Lorenzo, Head of the Technology & Innovation of Ericsson (Spain), the “Innovation Trends in I4.0 enabled by 5G and Beyond Networks”. Manuel has been very active over the past 30 years (since 1994) in the development of wireless networks technology, while currently is leading research and innovation activities associated with the application of wireless networks in industry vertical sectors and the creation of the associated ecosystem to deliver more innovations. On this topic, Manuel recently led the preparation of a White Article under the auspices of the 5G PPP Technology Board, entitled “Innovation Trends in I4.0 enabled by 5G and Beyond Networks”.
