The Room Where the Fire Went Out

from Letters from the Lighthouse — Fexingo Horror · host Fexingo

The impostor's footsteps stop outside the door, then walk away. Luna opens the door to an empty corridor where the air is cold and smells of salt. She follows a trail of wet footprints to a room that was never in the lighthouse before—a nursery with a crib and a rocking chair. In the crib is a letter addressed to 'the Luna who will stay.' The rocking chair creaks by itself, and Luna realizes the footprints lead in a circle around the room. The impostor has been here, waiting. The letter says the fire was a test, and the real spiral begins in this room. Luna sits in the rocking chair to read, and when she looks up, the crib is gone, replaced by a mirror showing her own reflection holding a child who has her eyes. The child points at the wall, where a door appears that was always there. Luna hears the impostor's voice from behind the door, humming a lullaby. #LettersFromTheLighthouse #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #Luna #Impostor #Spiral #Nursery #Crib #RockingChair #Mirror #Child #Lullaby #Footprints #Door #SaltrockLighthouse #PhantomLighthouse #TimeLoop #SerializedHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
