The Root Cellar at Meridian Road

In the summer of 2017, Luna's car broke down on a back road near Meridian, Indiana. She walked to a farmhouse where an old woman named Elara offered her a place to wait for the tow truck. While sitting on the porch, Luna noticed a locked root cellar door at the side of the house. Elara warned her never to open it, but the sound of scratching from inside grew louder as the night went on. When Luna finally looked through a crack in the wood, she saw something that wasn't human—something that had been waiting for her. This episode is a slow-burn meditation on curiosity, isolation, and the things we agree not to see. No monsters appear on screen, but the threat is palpable in every creak and whisper. Luna leaves before dawn, but she never forgets the smell of damp earth and the feel of eyes on her back as she drove away. #Mothlight #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #Anthology #RootCellar #MeridianRoad #Indiana #Summer2017 #OldWoman #LockedDoor #Scratching #Porch #Cornfield #TowTruck #Curiosity #Isolation #MidwestGothic #SlowBurn #MidwestHorror #FarmhouseHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
