The Root of Anger

from Mentoring Matters · host Sharon Hoskins and Janie Ratzlaff

“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you…be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you” Eph. 4:31-32   Everyone has basic needs, but when they are not met, and then anger and hurt often ensue. Over the course of time, unmet needs are stored in a part of the brain that remembers the negativity in life that triggers anger. Along with needs, people are entitled to basic rights, but when those rights are violated then hurt and anger is the emotional response. If anger is a troubling point that you are dealing with, then listen in to see if you can find the solution to the root of anger in your life.
