The Rory Conacher Blues

Send us Fan Mail THE RORY CONACHER BLUES (Folk Protest Ballad) Verse 1 Rory rolled in selling crypto dreams, StepChain shirts and wealth-machine schemes, "Freedom's coming, just hold the line," Every promise sounded mighty fine. HyperVerse rockets filled the sky, People watched their savings fly, Friends and family bought the pitch, Till the whole thing left them in a ditch. Chorus Hey Rory Conacher, how many roads you choose? How many broken promises before the public views? One day you're the salesman, next day you're the cure, But the people who got burned aren't buying that no more. Verse 2 Now he's talking legal claims, Blaming everyone but the names, Says there's lawyers waiting in Dubai, But nobody can verify. Forms are open, fees are due, Same old story dressed up new, Victims asking, "Where's the proof?" Only finding another roof. Pre-Chorus Because trust gets spent and trust gets lost, And someone always pays the cost, The hardest truth for all to see, Sometimes the rescuer caused the injury. Chorus Hey Rory Conacher, what happened to the truth? Another shiny rescue plan aimed at the wounded youth, One more webinar, one more excuse, That's the sound of the Rory Conacher blues. Verse 3 Then Michele stood and took a stand, Against her own flesh and blood's command, Family ties can run so deep, But conscience doesn't always sleep. She gathered documents, dates and names, Followed the money, followed the claims, While others looked the other way, She chose the harder road that day. Verse 4 Then Danny de Hek came asking why, While promoters hoped the story would die, Digging through records, court filings too, Separating fact from what wasn't true. The louder the questions started to grow, The harder it became to run the show, Because evidence doesn't care who's loud, And facts don't disappear in a crowd. Bridge See eventually the curtain falls, Eventually somebody answers the calls, You can rebrand stories, change the name, But history remembers who played the game. The victims weren't looking for another pitch, They wanted answers to the mess in which Their savings vanished, dreams were bruised, Leaving families singing the Conacher blues. Final Chorus Hey Rory Conacher, the story isn't done, The people still remember what happened to their funds, And while the truth may travel slow, It always catches up wherever you go. So here's to those who stood their ground, When silence was the safer sound, To Michele, Danny, and all who refuse, To stop exposing the Conacher blues. Outro No moonshot left. No secret cure. No miracle lawyer. No easy door. Just victims wanting truth at last, And a record of the past. That's the Rory Conacher blues.
