The rose began to feel neglected and "lesser," comparing its petals to others and wondering why it was never chosen for such a simple honor. One day, the girl finally plucked the rose, but instead of placing it in her hair, she handed it to a stranger. Confused and heartbroken, the rose soon found itself in a room filled with hundreds of other roses. It was only then that the rose understood its true destiny: a garland maker wove them all together into a magnificent offering to be placed upon the Divine. This reminds us that when we feel overlooked or "not enough," it is often because the universe is saving us for a purpose far greater than we could ever imagine. You might be wishing for something small, like being a flower in someone's hair, but you are being reserved to become part of something sacred.
