The Royal Tenenbaums (2001):Wes Anderson part 2 of 4, James loves Micro-machines on NES

Welcome to Movie Time Machine, where this week in 2001, it’s Family Time. Host Jamie is training falcons, Chad has taken a fancy to red track suits, James is driving his car recklessly down the road at full speed while Casey narrates from above. If everyone has been assigned an odd random task, it must be a clue that we are watching our second Wes Anderson film! We banter about everything from Gene Hackman to Micro Machines for the NES, with plenty of marshmallow filling in between. It’s a real Wes Anderson fluffernutter of an episode. Join us!
