The Ruler from Bethlehem

People long for leaders who can repair what is broken, yet rulers often fail and people cannot find every answer within themselves. Micah promises that a ruler will come from little Bethlehem, shepherding His people in God’s strength and becoming their peace. Jesus fulfils that promise. As the good shepherd, He lays down His life to reconcile sinners to God, knows His sheep personally, and leads them towards His ways.
