from The Shakeout Podcast · host Madeleine Kelly, Kate Van Buskirk

Each week Canadian Running staff writer Maddy Kelly and Shakeout host Kate Van Buskirk update you on the exciting world of running. In the first month of the new year we have already seen several Canadians set World Leads on the track, including Kieran Lumb in the 3000m and Regan Yee in the mile. At only 18 years old, Christopher Morales-Williams set a blazing new Canadian U20 indoor 300m record and NCAA lead. The Houston Half and Full Marathons saw national records go down and many strong performances by our Canucks, while the Valencia 10K started in mayhem. And the excitement is just getting started, with track and road races galore on the schedule over the coming weeks!
