Kelly Drake will kick things off tonight with the Rundowns, word of the week.  The Rockefeller Christmas tree has a rich history, but this year there were some challenges. Julie Levy talks to new yorkers about the new tree, some old trees and how you can safely visit. The Lucerne Hotel sits in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the city: the Upper West Side. In July, as coronavirus ravaged the homeless community, the hotel was transformed into a homeless shelter. In light of the recent ruling to remove the homeless from the lucerne, Austin Barron takes a trip to the neighborhood to see how the community is adjusting. Dating during covid has been hard for all of us, Kelly Drake and Grace Wanebo try to navigate the virtual dating scene. In the first 7 months of 2020, more transgender Americans were murdered than in all of 2019. In response to this growing issue, New York City student activists are using art to fundraise for the trans community’s safety. Cate Hynes reports.
