Bryan Matthews, Caleb Jones, Brian Stultz and Jay G. Tate reconvene in the Rane Room to discuss the most pressing news, which today centers on the team's appearance at SEC Media Days. Pressing? Oh yeah. Hugh Freeze discussed several items of interest — including an odd approach toward play-calling-by-committee, his percentage of time devoted toward coaching and his inability (or unwillingness) to change how he approached recruiting in the NIL age. Is he a dinosaur or a principled cat in a shady world? It's really up to each person to decide. Caleb and B-Matt then jump in to discuss football recruiting, which is set to hit a crescendo during the next two weeks after a relatively slow month. Big Cat Weekend is one week away and several top targets are on commit watch or flip watch. This should be an exciting time for Auburn recruiting.
