The Running Man [2025]
from talkabout: A Film Podcast Hosted by Ellis & Gwilym
Send us Fan Mail This week we put 30 days on the clock and prepare to run, as we discuss Edgar Wright's adaptation of 'The Running Man'. We discuss the social, economical and political commentaries throughout and get behind Glen Powell as he drives towards a life changing sum of money. We provide our thoughts on that polarising ending, discuss how we'd tackle the world's deadliest game and conduct a draft pick of game show movies. Enjoy! Imagine this but driving. You can step out of your car once a day for 10 minutes, other than that players have to be behind the wheel. This would be a great bit of action cinema full of high speed chases and deadly environments. Hollywood come knocking, we're up for a conversation.
