The Rut is Your Litmus Test

How's your rutcation going? Do you look forward to the rut on your property or despise it?  What does that say about your property and the management of the natural resources? We are here this week to break it down in detail as we compare and contrast two different farms and two different rut hunting experiences. Farms with highly managed habitat can be incredible places to hunt during any time of the year, but those with a proper layout and distribution of dense cover are exciting to say the least! In comparison, those farms with no definition of the habitat or very few pinch points can spell disaster for a deer hunter during the rut.
