The Sabbath: Is It Still For Us?

The church kept nine of the ten commandments and quietly buried the tenth.In this episode we go all the way back to Genesis 2, before Moses, before Israel, before the Law, to show that the Sabbath was never a Jewish invention. It was built into the fabric of creation itself on day seven. We then walk through the manna in the wilderness, the commandment at Sinai, what Jesus actually said about it in Mark and Matthew, what Paul meant in Colossians 2, and what Hebrews 4 reveals about the deepest layer of what the Sabbath was always pointing to.This is not a guilt trip.
