The Saber Spot "A Name Change"

The name "The Saber" is rooted in Confederate imagery; Columbus College, opened in 1958, was represented by the mascot called "The Rebel." This mascot was clothed in the Confederate uniform and held a saber. In an effort to distance from these more racist-leaning, militaristic imageries, The Saber is looking to you to help find a new, more representative name!
