Detectives later determined the case to be a homicide involving child abuse.Two suspects are in custody facing charges including murder and felony child abuse. Two other children were found unharmed.CITY WATCHSacramento County Public Health is expanding its free car seat safety program with a $137,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.In partnership with Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center, the program provides no-cost car seats, safety checks, and hands-on education, with a focus on underserved and refugee communities.Proper car seats can reduce crash deaths by up to 71% for infants.
