NEWSSWAT Standoff Update – Seavey Circle Sacramento Police say a suspect remains barricaded inside a residence in the 200 block of Seavey Circle after fleeing officers. SWAT and Crisis Negotiators are actively working to bring the situation to a peaceful resolution. The suspect is believed to be armed and continues refusing to surrender.Natomas Truck Stop Murder Conviction Quentin Respers has been convicted of second-degree murder in the 2022 shooting death of Abrina Abraham at a Natomas truck stop. Prosecutors say the two had a prior relationship and met to talk before the shooting. Respers faces up to 43 years to life in prison.
