‘The Salt Lines‘

In an uncharacteristic display of competence, the pod boys clock in a terrific bite-sized episode before the start of the holiday season. On a planet surrounded by ten concentric salt rings, gargantuan lenses of unknown origin look out into mysterious and faraway parts of space. The natives are fascinated by them, and the discoveries they make astral projecting through the lenses to other galaxies have tremendously advanced their society, and cultivated interest in space at large.
