The Salvation Mandate in the Teachings of Jesus

Even a very superficial reading of human history reveals a tragic story.  Something is very wrong within the human "family."  There is, however, the disturbing narrative of the exploitation of the weak by the powerful without apology.  What is very interesting is the reality that the strong and the weak share the same need for a Redeemer.  All have sinned and come short of God's righteousness.  This is a common problem we all share since at some point in the future we all die.  What will people do when they find out that in the great post-thanatological (death) environment they failed to accept God's answer to the human condition in Jesus?
