The S&B People Podcast – Impact for employers of the Immigration White Paper

In this episode, Kerry Garcia,  Head of our Employment, Pensions and Immigration team joins our host, Frances Rollin, to talk about the government’s immigration white paper Restoring control over the immigration system and discuss how employers can get ahead of these changes to the law on hiring foreign workers. Importantly, this is only a White Paper at this stage and these changes are not yet law -  no details have been provided as to when the changes will come into effect. However, assuming the proposed changes go ahead, these will lead to a significant shift in immigration laws, which will impact individuals coming to the UK and employers hiring overseas nationals.
