The Sauce | Prayer Rhythms

04-30-2023 If you've ever wondered how to pray or how to find the time, this is the message for you! Rhythms are structures to support our deepest soul longings. We are each born with a desire to relate to God. Often we don’t recognize it, and we fill that soul void with other things. But we were created for intimacy with God, and when we don’t feel intimacy with God, it’s often because we don’t have a daily prayer rhythm. Can you imagine talking to your spouse once a week on Sunday? You wouldn’t feel any intimacy with them either. Jesus invites us to experience his rhythms: Matthew 11: 28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” "Prayer Rhythms" is a message from Pastor Ashley about some easy, practical rhythms you can start today! Never miss a post!
