As the series has unfolded, it should now become apparent that the story of scripture is not just history, it is also His Story, the story of Jesus Christ the Messiah, who came to redeem sinful mankind. He perfectly fulfilled the law given to Moses and His chosen people and became the once-and-for-all sacrifice that replaced the sacrificial system of the Old Testament. Believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection as the payment for your sins and mine is the ONLY way to heaven. Today, on Easter, we celebrate the most important event in all of history which took place 2,000 years ago.
